Pelion Mountain is an area of natural beauty, and in conjunction with the architectural uniqueness and its rich cultural heritage is a unique place to attract tourism.

The numerous activities available to everyone such as ecotourism, religious and cultural tours, sport activities, trekking, hiking and field trips on either the mountainous or the coastal region of Pelion make it the ideal place for very many visitors throughout the year.

In particular Northern Pelion is considered to be a paradise on earth. The combinative view of the majestic mountain with the deep-blue Aegean Sea is breathtaking. The incredible variations of nature make the mountain to constantly change appearance. The dense vegetation of the summer with the blooming flowers and the trees full of fruits give way to an incredible dance of colours that creates the foliage in autumn. Then the winter arrives characterized by thick fog and heavy rains or snow storms that cover all the scenic villages.

The village of Mouresi is located between the villages of Tsagarada and Kissos, five minutes drive from each one. It is a traditional village with a beautiful main square, enjoying an awesome view of the Aegean Sea.
The locals are friendly and helpful and always welcome visitors with a smile. In the village one can find whatever is required for everyday needs such as bakery, mini market, petrol station. One can also enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the traditional coffee houses or taste local dishes in one of the countless warm taverns, accompanied by local tsipouro or wine.

The village of Tsagarada stretches along 5 kilometers and consists of four distinct districts according to the existing parishes (The Holy Taxiarches, Aghia Paraskevi, Saint Stephan and Aghia Kiriaki (Santa Dominica)). The many trails and paths within the village form a maze and bring the visitor to beautiful squares, natural waterfalls, imposing mansions and many traditional taverns. The region of Tsagarada is perhaps the most cosmopolitan part of Eastern Pelion, and the meeting point of many celebrities and tourists.

Kissos is a small picturesque village with a central square dominated by the magnificent church of Santa Marina, a trikliti (three aisles) 17th century basilica, a pace which was forbidden during the Turkish occupation as it was very impressive. The gilded carved temple (the construction of which lasted 60 years), the frescoes which portray subjects from the apocalypse and natural history and the fact that one of the paintings depicts the face of God, make this church unique.

From this village starts the new road to the ski resort of Pelion (at a height of 1471 meters) near the village of Hania. The resort has got three aerial lifts and two ski lifts. There are 6 ski slopes of different difficulty levels and a piste for Alpine ski. A modern chalet and two smaller cafés add to the white winter landscape. Here the visitors can enjoy the unique experience of skiing and at the same time watch the blue sea, as from one side of the slopes one has got the deep blue Aegean sea and from the other side the crystal clear waters of the Pagasiticos gulf.

Just 10 minutes drive from the Guesthouse there are the famous beaches of Damouhari (where certain parts of the “Mama Mia” film were shot) with the perfectly round white pebbles, Papa Nero (7 blue flags) where nature leads to an endless golden beach, the Aye Giannis (13 blue flags) with its many taverns, the well known Milopotamos (7 blue flags) with the beautiful waters where the golden sandy beach is separated in two by protruding imposing cliffs. Also, within walking distance are the beaches of Fakistra, of Lambinou, Horefto and Aye Saranta (with the stunning beach bar).
